The all-in-one CRM trap
29 July 2026 · 5 min read
Every all-in-one CRM pitch follows the same shape: consolidate, simplify, cancel your other subscriptions. It sounds like maturity. It usually costs you the two or three tools your team is genuinely great at using.
Design software is the obvious example. A generic CRM's built-in quoting module will never match a purpose-built design platform. Job management is the same story — your field team already trusts their app, and asking them to run installs out of a CRM tab is how adoption dies.
The alternative isn't chaos. It's a switchboard. One system owns the customer, the conversation and the follow-up, and it connects cleanly to the specialist tools around it.
That's the model Sparkhaus is built on. Keep the tools that are excellent. Connect them so data flows one way, once. Put the automation and the reporting in the middle where it belongs.
You end up with fewer tabs and better tools — not fewer tools and worse outcomes.
